Designed for committed dancers ages 11–18, BYC provides students with the opportunity to bring their training beyond the studio through performances at community events, schools, fundraisers, festivals and other local venues.

Through rehearsals, performances, workshops, master classes, and intensives, BYC dancers continue to develop their technical skills, artistry, confidence, and leadership while experiencing the responsibilities and rewards of being part of a performing ensemble. The program emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and using dance as a way to connect with and inspire others.

Participation in BYC requires a commitment to continued dance training through the Junior or Senior Intensive Program, weekly rehearsals throughout the school year, and the BoSoma School of Dance Summer Intensive held each August. Placement is by audition and teacher recommendation.
