BoSoma Youth Company invites you to join us for our enchanting winter production, The Holiday Spectacular: A Snow Globe Wish, this December at The Cabot Theatre in Beverly, MA! Get into the holiday spirit with the pre-professional dance company from Bosoma School Of Dance as they bring a magical story to life on stage. Follow two daners who whispered wish transports them into a snow globe world filled with sparkling mountains, twinkling lights, playful snowball flights, and steaming cups of hot chocolate. Along their journey, they uncover forgotten holiday treasures and the true spirit of the season—magic, generosity and joy.

 Choreography will feature original works by BSD Owner Katherine Hooper, Director Courtney Costa, Assistant Director Kelsey Blanchette, Curriculum Director Dana Mazurowski, and Administrative Coordinator and Irish Step Assistant Director Alyssa Sullivan. Guest choreographers Julia Sykes and Heather MacBeath will also present new works. Audiences can expect a variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, and Contemporary.

The BoSoma Youth Company (BYC) of the BoSoma School of Dance is a community outreach dance group for ages 10-18 committed to sharing the art of dance at a wide variety of local venues. This pre-professional performance group offers students the chance to take their training outside the classroom and into the community at places such as town fairs, after-school programs, fundraisers, and other local events. In addition, youth company dancers are given the opportunity to enhance their dance education through workshops, master classes, and intensives. In order to participate in the BYC, students must commit to attending the Jr or Sr Intensive Annual Program Classes, attend 1-2 weekly rehearsals as scheduled through out the school year as well as the BSD Summer Intensive held in August.
