Cassie is a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist and received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in 2023. Cassie also holds a BFA in Dance Performance from University of Hartford and is a current member of BoSoma Dance Company! Cassie’s love for movement as expression and helping communities led her to pursue a career that combines these lifelong passions. In her time in graduate school, Cassie held positions as an expressive arts therapy intern in an elementary school where she supplemented children’s developmental and educational goals with arts-based experiences. Cassie also interned with Boston Children’s Hospital Early Intervention program before graduating. Cassie is currently working in Early Intervention in Boston, helping infants and toddlers with developmental delays and diagnoses. As she continues her clinical work, Cassie is thrilled to bring her knowledge and passion to a dance studio setting! Cassie plans to continue exploring dance/movement therapy applications to support children’s social/emotional, cognitive, and gross motor development through fun and expressive activities and classes.
