
Taryn Moquin
Faculty: Tiny Tots, Hip Hop, Level BTJ, Acro & Tap
Taryn Moquin is a dancer, choreographer, and educator with a passion for preserving and evolving the art form. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Associate’s degree in Exercise Science from Dean College, where she served as President of the Loose Screws tap club during the 2025–2026 season. Taryn trained at Bosoma School of Dance from 2011–2022 under the direction of Katherine Hooper, developing a diverse background in modern dance, ballet technique, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and other styles.
Throughout her career, Taryn has performed and choreographed works by various professional and collegiate choreographers, including Todd Shanks, Thelma Goldberg, Jess Pretty, Constance Dinapoli of Paul Taylor Dance Company, Kayla Luoma, Tara Iaocabucci, and many more. Her performance experience includes the American College Dance Association’s 2025 Adjudication and Gala Concerts, the 2026 Adjudication Concert, and the Riff Dallas Tap Festival. She also completed an administrative and teaching internship at The Dance Inn under the direction of Thelma Goldberg.Taryn is passionate about dance education, choreography, and honoring the cultural roots of the art form. She strives to create meaningful experiences for dancers while encouraging individuality, creativity, and a continued appreciation for the art form.
