Madison Sweeney

Madison Sweeney is a Boston-based freelance dancer and teacher. Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, she began her training at the Minnesota Ballet School under the direction of Robert Gardner. She continued her training at the School of Ballet Arizona under Ib Andersen and Carlos Valcarcel before joining the Ballet Theatre of Maryland in 2017. While with BTM, she had the pleasure of performing soloist and ensemble roles, teaching, and rehearsal directing. Upon moving to the Boston area in the fall of 2025, she joined KAIROS Dance theater’s 2025 trainee cohort. She has since had the opportunity to work with several Boston dance organizations, including Janelle Gilchrist Dance Troupe, Julianne Cerreta, Abilities Dance Boston, The School of Classical Ballet, Bosoma School of Dance, and José Mateo Ballet Theatre.
