
Kelsey Blanchette
Assistant Director
Kelsey received her early dance training at Dance Progressions in Londonderry, New Hampshire before earning her degree from Salem State University. During her time at Salem State she participated in the ACDA dance conference and was awarded the 2017 Creativity Award, the university's highest honor in the arts.
Since joining BoSoma School of Dance in 2016, Kelsey has grown into a leadership role serving as Community Outreach Director since 2022 and Assistant Director since 2025. She is also a Company Dancer with BoSoma Dance Company and is passionate about creating a supportive, inspiring environment where dancers can grow both artistically and personally.
A lifelong learner, Kelsey is committed to continuing her education as both a dancer and educator. In 2026, she completed three levels of Giordano Jazz Technique Teacher Certification under the direction of Nan Giordano and Cesar G. Salinas, deepening her knowledge of one of America's premier jazz techniques. She is also a certified Btone Fitness Instructor, bringing a strong understanding of movement, strength and conditioning into her teaching. Kelsey is dedicated to helping dancers build confidence, strong technical foundations and a lifelong love of dance!
